Fifah de Dieu in Concert: Gospel and Praise at Africa Sound City
The date is set, and it promises to be an intense one. On Saturday 9 May, the grounds of Africa Sound City will move to the rhythm of a voice that, in recent years, has carved a lasting place in the hearts of Beninese music lovers. Fifah de Dieu, an artist whose fervour is matched only by her gentleness, returns to the stage for a gospel concert that promises to be far more than a simple musical performance: a true spiritual immersion.

For all of us on the editorial team at Africaine, this event has a very special flavour. While we have followed the artist’s journey in the past under other banners, this concert officially marks our very first partnership since the platform was launched. It is therefore with undisguised pride that we stand alongside this voice of gratitude.
A career forged over time
Behind this stage name, which rings like a promise, is Arlette Agossadou. Hailing from Dassa-Zoumè, she carries within her the heritage of the hills and a passion for singing that has never left her. This is no newcomer stepping forward, but a woman who has spent more than two decades refining her art in the shadow of choirs and vocal groups.

Her solo take-off in 2020 with “Aklunon Gbedotô” was merely the prelude to a rise later confirmed by her first album, “Reconnaissance”, released in 2024. Today, Fifah de Dieu pulls off the bold feat of combining a demanding career in banking with an artist’s life devoted to spreading “the good news”. It is this authenticity, one foot firmly planted in reality and a voice turned towards the heavens, that sets her apart as an artist.
Fifah de Dieu in concert: praise and sharing at Africa Sound City
This May 2026 concert continues that momentum. From 8 pm, the Kindonou district will become the gathering point for everyone seeking to escape through praise. The line-up is all the more enticing as the artist has chosen to surround herself with leading figures of the local gospel scene. Johnny Sourou, Godmyel, Grâce Ifê and Prophet Paul-Isaac Saossy will join her to make the evening a moment of collective communion.
Access to the event has been designed to be inclusive, with tickets ranging from 2,000 FCFA for standard entry to 5,000 and 10,000 FCFA for the VIP experience. For those who wish to support the artist, tickets at 25,000 FCFA are available.

By supporting this concert, Africaine reaffirms its commitment to shining a light on the talents who make our continent shine. Fifah de Dieu at Africa Sound City is the promise of an enchanted interlude where music becomes prayer and every note is a testimony.
